Meg attended her first yoga class with her mother , and grandmother and has been practicing ever since. She grew up able to witness her grandmother make time each day for meditation and journaling. From an early age Meg was interested in the connection between the body and the mind. She started teaching at 19 in college while she obtained a B.S. in Psychology. She traveled to India and Sri Lanka to study with her teacher, Laura Baumann of Quantum Yoga and silent mediation at the Nilambe Buddhist Mediation Center in Sri Lanka. Meg also learned Ayurvedic Massage and Spa treatments while there, and also obtained over 600 hours of Massage Therapy training at Cortiva Institute, in Philadelphia. She also gathered knowledge from their yoga, thai yoga, meditation and bodywork community while living there and practicing for 3 years.
Meg's journey started at age five and her teachings are a reflection of her travels, education, and experience. Her approach to yoga includes her intuitive understanding of individuals and groups through psychology, the dosha system, reiki, thai yoga massage, aromatherapy, pranayama and meditation. Her classes provide a challenge, and balance to yin and yang energies.
